**PIZZICATO and it means: s derived from Italian which means to "pinch" or "nip" and is a directive to a bowed string instrument performer that the indicated notes are to be plucked with the fingers rather than bowed
**ARCO and it means: A note in string instrument musical notation indicating that the bow is to be used in the usual way.
**MUSIC and it means: vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion

Buzzwords from 2018 - 2019
**VIBRATO and it means: a slightly tremulous effect imparted to vocal or instrumental tone for added warmth and expressiveness by slight and rapid variations in pitch.
**ADAGIO and it means: A slow musical tempo.
**REEL and it means: A reel is a traditional dance tune type, commonly found in traditional Irish music, as well as traditional Scottish music, as well as other genres that were subsequently influenced by Irish or Scottish music.
**JIG and it means: form of lively folk dance in compound meter ... Today it is most associated with Irish dance music.
**SCAT and it means: also called Scat Singing, in music, jazz vocal style using emotive, onomatopoeic, and nonsense syllables instead of words in solo improvisations on a melody.
**IMPROVISATION and it means: making up a song as you go along.
**STANZA and it means: the verse in a song.
**CAPO and it means: the beginning.
**SCORE and it means: this is the written down version of music. Generally for a complex piece that shows the music for a number of musical instruments.

**OCTAVE and it means: In music, an octave has all notes (A,B,C,D,E,F,G) as well as their sharps and flats included. This octave is repeated in both higher and lower pitches. So the next higher A note, after the note you are playing, is considered one octave higher.
**DOLCE and it means: to play a piece of music sweetly.
** BRAVURA and it means: a musical passage requiring exceptional agility and technical skill in execution, a daring show of excellence and artistry.
** DYNAMICS and it means: the volume level of a piece of music - how loudly or softly the composer would like a piece of music to be performed.
