Welcome to Fourth Grade Violin -- Violin Level III
Let's Meet the Violin:Cleaning String Instruments:How Are String Instruments Made? |
Welcome to the wonderful world of string instruments...particularly, the violin :)
I am VERY excited to begin this journey with you and your children!! Parents and parent involvement is an essential part of a students success in music, particularly in the Suzuki style of teaching. Although we can't have parents attend each and every one of our class meetings, it will be very important for your child's success that they begin practicing at home and that they see you excited and enthusiastic about all of their violin playing. Be sure to check your child's string class page often. I will be posting videos, handouts, songs, and other helpful materials there for each of our classes to help build this bridge from violin at school to violin at home!
As always, thank you for all of your help and support :) Mrs.. Kamp |
Listen Up!
An integral part of the Suzuki style of learning is listening to performances of the songs by professional musicians. We do A LOT of listening in class, but if you'd like to take your listening to the next level at home, you can get a copy of the Suzuki Volume 1 CD on Amazon or try the Spotify playlist listed below.
