Parents, it might be a good idea to save your child's band webpage so you can reference it for important information including practice sheets, band repertoire play alongs, the instrumental program google calendar, and, my favorite, our Remind App :)
Something SUPER Cool!!!If you're interested in history at all, you might know that this week will mark the 75th Anniversary of D-Day...the turning point of WWII!! A few of Mrs. Kamp's college friends were lucky enough to be chosen to participate in a wind ensemble playing tour featuring a special performance on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day....playing with veterans who were there that day on instruments that survived the D-Day Landing!!!! They've left the schools they teach at for the week and are headed to France to begin this AMAZING experience. One of them is an avid blogger and has put together a blog for her students to follow. Since I'll be sharing this experience remotely with our older students this week, I thought you might be interested in following along too!
