As promised, here's your article of the week saluting March as "Music in Our School's Month!" Special Music Performance!!The students of the Amagansett School were treated to a special presentation by the East Hampton High School Select Ensembles in honor of Music in our Schools Month this past Friday, March 24th. East Hampton High Schools Camerata, Far East Fiddlers, and Jazz Band came to visit our school and performed a concert for all of the children. It was wonderful to see Amagansett School Alumni Camille Barrett performing with the Camerata, the High School's select singing ensemble!! A fantastic time was had by all, especially the high school students who loved sharing their passion for music with our younger students. What a great way to teach children about the possibilities that lie ahead for them if they continue with their music study throughout their school career! A big THANK YOU to Mr. Grindle, Mr Green, and Mr Mandato for bringing this afternoon of music and sharing to us!! If you'd like to hear a bit of what we got to hear, click HERE and visit our Alumni Music Page and watch the video clips :)
