Our Weekly Info.... | Thank you to all who participated in the Buzzword Game last week including: Isabelle (2) and Noelly (2). The Buzzword was: KEY SIGNATURE which means: "The sharps or flats that follow the clef and indicate the key of a piece of music." The new Buzzword is TIME SIGNATURE. Do you know what that word's musical definition is? Can you look it up? Join the fun by completing this week's Buzzword Challenge!! Another new month brings another new Composer of the Month! This month the children will be learning about Antonio Vivaldi as we listen to his music and learn facts about his life each class. We'll also be doing some special activities with one of the movements of his famous piece, The Four Seasons as we welcome Spring in the music classroom. Can you guess which season we'll be listening to the most?? Check your child's go home folder for this month's composer fact sheet as well as the directions for how to become a "music detective" and have their work featured on the bulletin board outside the music classroom and on the Music Website! |
