VERY IMPORTANT ANNUONCEMENT
APRIL 6th at 6:00PM.
Please mark this important change on your family calendar and, since it's nice and early, let all of your spring sports coaches know to keep the date free of any games and / or practices as all students in grades 3 - 6 are involved in this concert and will need to be there to have the best concert ever :)
Our Weekly Info... | The Buzzword last week was SONATA and it means: "An instrumental musical composition typically of three or four movements in contrasting forms and keys." Thank you to Andrew (4), Ava (4), and Baeke (2) who all participated in this week's challenge!! Keep up the GREAT work and enjoy your prizes :) The new Buzzword is REFRAIN. Do you know what that word's musical definition is? Can you look it up? Join the fun by completing this week's Buzzword Challenge!! We've begun a new month, and with it, came a new composer of the month! This month, we begin our salute to "Maestro of the Month," George Frideric Handel as we listen to his music and learn facts about his life each class. Check your child's go home folder for this month's composer fact sheet as well as the directions for how to become a "music detective" and have their work featured on the bulletin board outside the music classroom and on the Music Website! A special thank you to Willow (1) for submitting our very first Handel fact!! |
